Perpetua, formerly Sellics, is a goal-based e-commerce and retail-media optimization platform. You set objectives, a target ACOS, and a budget, and the engine executes bidding and tactics across Amazon and other marketplaces. Its genuine strengths are real: it is an established incumbent with Sellics heritage and a large review base, and it has the broadest channel coverage of most tools in this space, spanning Sponsored Products, Brands, Brands Video, and Display, plus Amazon DSP, AMC, Walmart, and others. It offers true intraday optimization via the Amazon Marketing Stream on higher tiers, a strong market-intelligence layer, and a goal-based interface that lowers day-to-day labour. You can run it self-serve or managed.
So why would a seller shop for an alternative? A few honest, specific reasons. Pricing scales against you: Essentials is flat at 695 dollars per month up to 10K of monthly spend, but the Growth tier becomes a flat fee plus a percentage of ad spend, with the percentage not disclosed, and Premium is custom and demo-gated. That 695-dollar entry is high for small sellers, and there is no free trial disclosed in our research.
The other reason is control. Perpetua runs always-on goal-based bidding that auto-executes to your target ACOS. It surfaces recommendations and what it calls advanced levers, but there is no published approval gate, shadow mode, dry-run, or versioned guardrail before changes go live, and no published deterministic-versus-AI boundary or confidence and audit-ledger model. If you want broad multi-channel reach, Perpetua is strong. If you want a hard review step before software touches your spend, you may want something else.
The best Perpetua alternatives
Six tools worth weighing, starting with the one built specifically around control and flat pricing.
1. AdsPlane
AdsPlane is an Amazon Ads control plane built on one idea: safety lives in the architecture, not just in how carefully you configured your rules. A deterministic Python engine decides every bid, budget, pause, and negative. AI is used only to narrate what happened in plain English, never to decide. Every change becomes a reviewable Manifest that executes only after clearing a versioned Guardrail Policy and an Approval Gate, which you can action from the web or Telegram. New accounts start in Shadow Mode, previewing everything and executing nothing. Auto-Approval is opt-in and confidence-and-guardrail gated, with a dry-run before every live change, before/after snapshots, mandatory Reconciliation, an append-only Execution Ledger, a per-recommendation Data Confidence Score, and an emergency kill switch.
Pricing is flat monthly and never a percentage of ad spend, which directly answers Perpetua's flat-plus-percentage Growth tier. T1 Free Local Lite is zero dollars per month. T2 Hosted Starter is 35 dollars per month with full execution, a 30-day trial, and AMC plus AMS included from that tier. T3 Hosted Growth is 79 dollars per month with unlimited campaigns, ML bidding, Boost Reach, and placement optimization. T4 Hosted Pro is 235 dollars per month. For the deep comparison, read AdsPlane vs Perpetua, or start a free trial.
The honest gap: AdsPlane is Amazon Sponsored Ads only, so SP, SB, and SD, with no Amazon DSP and no Walmart or other marketplaces. Perpetua's multi-channel breadth, the full SBV stack plus DSP, AMC, and Walmart, is exactly what AdsPlane does not match. AdsPlane is also a 2026 entrant with a thinner public review base, and it does not yet build a brand-new account's campaign structure from scratch.
2. Teikametrics
Teikametrics calls its approach Artificial Retail Intelligence: a retail-trained AI that unifies ads, catalog, and inventory into one profit-optimized decision engine, with optional human strategists. Its Predictive AI Bidder auto-executes bid changes inside seller-set constraints such as an ACOS limit and bid modifiers, rather than behind a per-action approval gate. Pricing is flat at entry, Essentials at 149 dollars per month annual up to 10K of monthly spend with a 30-day trial, then 3 percent of ad spend over 10K on Advanced and Enterprise. It is best for sellers who genuinely sell across Amazon, Walmart, and TikTok Shop and want an AI suite that also touches listings and inventory.
3. Pacvue
Pacvue is an enterprise Commerce Media Operating System unifying retail media across more than 100 retailers and 30-plus countries, with a hybrid rules-plus-AI model and a Pacvue Agent that auto-executes configured rules. It references governed workflows and approvals, but public pages do not specify whether approval is mandatory before execution or detail any dry-run or guardrail caps. Pricing is custom-quote and demo-gated, with no public pricing page. It is best for enterprise brands and large agencies operating across many retail-media networks at once, and is overkill for an individual seller.
4. Adbrew
Adbrew is a full-stack platform to win on Amazon and Walmart, combining rules, AI and ML across 100-plus factors, and an agentic Adbrew Intelligence layer that can auto-execute instantly, with audit being review-after rather than approve-before. Pricing is 799 dollars per month or a percentage of ad spend, whichever is greater, with the exact percentage not public, up to 500K of monthly spend, plus custom Enterprise and paid add-ons. Its real strength is the broadest channel coverage in this group, SP, SB, SD plus DSP, AMC, and Walmart, including DSP without Amazon's 10K minimum. It is best for higher-spend brands and agencies that need that breadth.
5. Helium 10 Ads (Adtomic)
Helium 10 Ads, formerly Adtomic, is the PPC module inside the Helium 10 suite, built from Helium 10 plus the acquired Prestozon engine. It runs a rules-plus-AI hybrid that auto-executes, with Smart Suggestions as the recommend-only review surface and no per-change approval, shadow, or dry-run described. Ads ships only on Diamond at 279 dollars per month and adds a non-refundable 2 percent management fee on all Managed-profile spend, with Enterprise from 1,499 dollars per month. It is best for sellers already living inside the Helium 10 suite who want AI campaign launch and dayparting tied to their keyword, rank, and listing data.
6. Quartile
Quartile is a patented-AI plus white-glove managed-service platform spanning retail media, paid search, and social in one optimizer, across Amazon, DSP, Walmart, Instacart, Criteo, Google, Meta, and Microsoft. Its Automated Hourly Bidding recalculates and executes multiple times a day from Marketing Stream, with no per-recommendation approval gate, shadow, dry-run, or reconciliation published. Pricing is not public, with everything routed to a demo request, and third-party descriptions of a spend-linked fee were not verifiable on a readable Quartile page, so treat the fee basis as unconfirmed. It is best for enterprise and mid-market brands that want a hands-off AI plus strategist model across many channels.

How to choose
If your priority is broad multi-channel coverage, including Amazon DSP, Walmart, and other marketplaces, Perpetua, Adbrew, Pacvue, and Quartile are the real contenders, with Perpetua and Adbrew suiting growing brands and Pacvue and Quartile suiting enterprise teams. If you sell across Amazon, Walmart, and TikTok Shop and want one AI suite, Teikametrics fits. If you are already paying for Helium 10, Adtomic is the path of least resistance.
If your priority is flat pricing that never becomes a percentage of ad spend, plus a hard, auditable review step before any change touches your account, AdsPlane is the closest match, with the trade-off that it is Amazon Sponsored Ads only and newer.
